Style Obsession | The Curly Top Knot

The Top Knot has got to be one of my favorite go-to styles.  With little effort, anyone can create a this simple, modern version of the traditional bun.  What if we could take the top-knot to the next level with the addition of a few curls?

If you aren't rocking naturally curly hair, the look can be recreated by first adding a curl via flexi rods or steam curlers.  Once set, gather the hair into a high ponytail and pin to create the bun.  I've also recreated a similar look from an old braidout.
